Double-lung transplant recipient Helene Campbell soaked up the rays in Toronto Sunday afternoon.
It was the first time the Ottawa woman has been outside since receiving her new lungs three weeks ago.
The 21-year-old posted a photo of herself beaming in the sunshine on Twitter, saying being outside felt so great.
Campbell's tireless work to promote organ donation shot her into the international spotlight earlier this year when her campaign was endorsed by pop superstar Justin Bieber and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. (Toronto Star)
