Head-on crash west of Ingersoll leaves motorcyclist dead
A motorcyclist was killed Sunday when his bike collided head-on with a passenger vehicle.
The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. on the 19th Line at Oxford Road 64, between Thamesford and Ingersoll.
Oxford County OPP say a Chevrolet vehicle crossed over to the wrong side of the road and hit the motorcycle.
Andrezej Kloc, the 55-year-old London resident driving the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle – George Pickering, a 70-year-old Zorra Township resident – was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Pickering was later charged with dangerous driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
