Six adults and one youth have been arrested following a drug bust in Listowel.
On July 6, 2016 Perth County OPP and the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit executed two warrants at a residence on Argyle Avenue.
With the first warrant, $125.00 worth of methamphetamine and marijuana were seized. Police also found drug trafficking paraphernalia, a stolen lap top and licence plate.
Two residents, a 49-year-old man and 40-year-old woman of the Municipality of North Perth, were arrested and both charged with possession of drugs and stolen property.
In the execution of the second warrant, police apprehended methamphetamine and cocaine with a combined street value of $450.00.
They also found cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia worth an estimated value of $1,000.
A 39-year-old woman, 42-year-old man, 54-year-old man all from the Municipality of North Perth and a 56-year-old man from Palmerston have each been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking.
Other charges laid to some of those arrested, include failing to comply with conditions of a probation order, failing to comply with conditions of recognizance and possession of stolen property.
They are scheduled to appear in Listowel court on July 27, 2016.
A youth from Palmerston was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and cocaine. The Listowel youth will appear in youth court in August.
