The case of the man accused of bilking a former Guelph company out of millions of dollars was briefly brought up in court Tuesday.
Steven Gamsby is charged with fraud and forgery in connection with allegations dating back to his time at Green and Clean Energy, which operated out of a building on Southgate Drive.
He was first arrested earlier this month, then released from custody on bail.
Speaking to CTV News, the owner of Green and Clean Energy has claimed that signatures on millions of dollars’ worth of contracts handled by Gamsby had been forged.
The company ended up going bankrupt.
Gamsby’s case returns to court Dec. 13.
