Guelph intersection reopens after collision that knocked over traffic light post

A collision shut down a Guelph intersection on Monday morning, resulting in minor injuries.

According to police, two vehicles collided in the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Victoria Road North around 11:15 a.m.

One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police believe a medical issue was the cause of the collision.

One of the vehicles also knocked over a traffic light post.

Traffic was delayed in the area for about three hours as crews installed a new post and cleaned up debris.
