The union representing public elementary teachers in Ontario has named four more school boards targeted for one-day strikes.

The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) says teachers in the Bluewater, Algoma, and Halton school boards will be off the job Wednesday. Teachers with the Thames Valley school board will strike on Thursday.

Walkouts will take place Monday in the Hamilton area and three school boards in northern Ontario.

On Tuesday, the strikes will move to the Waterloo Region, Grand Erie, Greater Essex, Lambton-Kent, Toronto, Durham, and Peel school boards.

The walkouts are in protest of Bill 115, a controversial law that allows the government to stop strikes, freeze wages and cut benefits.

Premier Dalton McGuinty has said the government would allow the one-day strikes as long as they don`t extend beyond that.
