Water levels have peaked across the Grand River watershed.
The Grand River Conservation Authority announced Monday that it had ended the flood warning and flood watch issued late last week.
The warning and watch came in response to a week of wet weather, with Waterloo Region seeing nearly as much rain in the first week of May as it normally does in an entire month.
While conditions for a warning are no longer in place, the GRCA says water levels will stay high all week long as runoff makes its way through the watershed.
People are being reminded to use caution around rivers, creeks and other waterways, as their banks can be slippery.
