A Kitchener apartment building had to be evacuated Friday night after a fire broke out in one of the units.
It started around 7:30 p.m. at 294 Chandler Drive.
Police say a child playing with matches caused the fire.
One resident was treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire caused $75,000 in damages.
