Provincial police have charged a 27-year-old Essex County man with a number of charges including impaired driving following a fatal crash in Tecumseh, Ontario.
Police say two vehicles collided at Walker and South Talbot roads Saturday afternoon.
One vehicle was carrying a family of five from Michigan.
All were taken to hospital.
A 44-year-old female passenger died from her injuries and an eight-year-old remains in critical condition.
No names have been released.
