Stratford police made multiple arrests after a man was seen entering an apartment building with a pistol.
During the dinner hour on Friday, Stratford police were contacted by a concerned citizen who reported seeing a man with a gun on Church Street. Officers investigating the incident believed the man described was a man known to the police force. Contact was established with the man and he exited the apartment building as directed.
A total of six people were arrested by police and taken into custody. The apartment was searched.
Police found two replica handguns and thousands of dollars worth of drugs.
Between the six arrested a total of 38 charges were laid, including possession and possession for the purposes of trafficking.
