A man and woman are in custody following a drug bust in Windsor.

Investigators say they stopped a man they suspected was trafficking in marijuana and seized more than 16 kilograms of the drug.

That traffic stop led officers to search a home, where police arrested a woman and seized more marijuana, nearly 4,000 Percocet tablets, ecstasy and 43 rounds of .38-calibre ammunition.

Sgt. Brett Corey calls it a significant seizure, but adds the discovery of the ammunition is worrisome.

Jesse Thibert, 30, of Tecumseh, and Danielle Peladeau, 29, of Windsor, are charged with several counts of possession of a controlled substance for trafficking.

Thibert is also charged with possession of ammunition while prohibited.
