Driver who hit 94-year-old while backing up faces charge

A 22-year-old man from Norfolk County has been charged for his role in a crash that left a 94-year-old woman seriously hurt.
Norfolk County OPP say the woman and another woman, 69, were walking along Oakwood Avenue in Simcoe when they were hit by an SUV.
The SUV, police say, was backing out of a driveway at the time.
Both women were taken to hospital for treatment – the 94-year-old with injuries said to be serious but not life-threatening, and the 69-year-old with minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV, Dalton Cebulak, is charged with failure to yield from a private driveway.
He was not hurt.
