It was a chaotic morning in a Tillsonburg neighbourhood.
Armed tactical officers, police dogs and paramedics took over a residential street for seven hours.
Police were called to Frances St at 3:00 AM to reports of a disturbance.
Neighbours are saying they saw a man with a gun and were told by police to leave their homes just before 8:00 a.m.
During the investigation a number of streets in the area were closed and people were asked to stay away.
All streets were re-opened at 10:30 a.m.
Police say one man has been arrested and taken into custody.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect at this time.
