The case of a woman found dead in a car on a rural road west of Paris is being treated as suspicious, police say.

Police have not released the name or other identifying information of the woman, whose body was found around 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Canning Road, near Highway 2.

A post-mortem examination was conducted on the woman’s body Tuesday.

OPP said Tuesday that the results of the examination have led them to consider the woman’s death as suspicious.

Drumbo resident Jessica Rowe was last seen Saturday morning, leaving her home about 10 kilometres northwest of where the body was found.

She was on her way to work in Cambridge.

Speaking to CTV News on Tuesday, Rowe’s father said he was devastated by his daughter’s disappearance and presumed death.

Family members say that over the next few weeks, Rowe would have celebrated her 32nd birthday, her son Noah’s first birthday, and her own wedding.
