Cross-examination of an undercover officer continued and the Crown closed its case as the murder trial in the death of Nadia Gehl entered its eighth week.
Gehl's husband, Ronald Cyr, as well as Nashat Qahwash and Zdenek ‘Dennis' Zvolensky each face a charge of first degree murder in the 2009 shooting death.
On Monday Cyr's lawyer began his fourth day of questioning of the undercover officer who befriended the three men, known only as UCJ.
During his testimony UCJ told the court Cyr never once cried about his murdered wife.
Cyr's lawyer had suggested his client was weeping, but the undercover officer said that was absolutely not the case.
UCJ went on to say he never saw any signs of grief and that Cyr never told him that he missed his wife.
Earlier in the case, Cyr was heard on tape admitting to the officer he planned his wife's murder and that the other accused carried it out.
But Cyr's lawyer has argued the officer embellished his notes about the conversations he had with the men.
