A two vehicle crash in the Stanley Park area of Kitchener sent one vehicle across a sidewalk and grass, through a chain-link fence and parking lot, and ultimately into an apartment building.

The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m., on River Road north of Ottawa Street.

The driver of the car that hit the apartment vehicle left the area after the vehicles came to rest, but prior to police arrival.

No serious injuries were reported.
