Six people were taken to hospital Sunday following a head-on crash in Bruce County.
South Bruce OPP say they were called to County Road 10, between Concession 12 and Concession 14 – north of Hanover and south of Chesley – just before noon.
Along with firefighters and paramedics, they found that three vehicles had been involved in the crash.
Six people from the vehicles were taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.
An air ambulance was called to the scene, but was not used.
According to police, a brown Nissan Altima was heading northbound on County Road 10 when it moved to the southbound lane to pass another vehicle.
As it remained in the southbound lane, it crashed head-on into a southbound GMC Sierra.
The resulting collision caused a southbound Toyota Yaris to hit the back of the Sierra as well.
The 21-year-old Hanover man driving the Altima has been charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence.
County Road 10 remained closed for a wider area stretching into Grey County until approximately 5:30 p.m.
