A 29-year-old man and his 26-year-old wife are charged with the murder of a Toronto comic in Southwestern Ontario.

The charges come more than two months after the body of 40-year-old Jason Farro was found inside a burned out two-storey home in St. Thomas.

An autopsy determined he died of blunt force trauma.

Police have said Farro was visiting Daniel Belding and his wife, Tina Ellis, but would not expand on the relationship between the victim and the two.

Belding and Ellis are each charged with second-degree murder, arson and possession of a controlled substance.

The two were remanded in custody and are due in court again on Tuesday.
