Regional council approved some recommended changes to the Homer Watson Boulevard and Block Line Road roundabout.

Signs at the roundabout will be changed from 'Yield to pedestrians' to 'Stop for pedestrians.'

Also, the speed limit will be reduced along Homer Watson from 70 kilometres per hour to 50 kilometres per hour within 400 metes north and south of the roundabout.

More changes may be coming in the future.

Council has been asked to hold off on overhead signs until a review is done on the location of the pedestrian crossings.

A teen was seriously injured after being struck by a Grand River Transit bus at the roundabout.
