Officials in St. Marys are investigating multiple reported sightings of a cougar, bobcat or similar animal.
The town issued a warning about the sightings Friday, saying the animal has been seen near the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
Anyone who encounters the animal is being urged not to approach it, and to report sightings to the town’s director of building and development by calling 519-284-2340 ext. 215.
