A body found on the Grand River Trail in Kitchener’s south end on Wednesday is not suspicious, Waterloo Regional Police say.
The body was found by hikers on a community trail near Homer Watson Boulevard and Doon South Drive.
“Police responded and found a person without vital signs,” says police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel.
An autopsy was conducted Thursday in Hamilton. It determined that the person died of natural causes due to numerous medical issues.
