Snow Valley skiers and boarders helped support Elmvale Food Bank

Skiers and snowboarders weren’t the only ones getting a lift at Snow Valley Ski Resort.

Together, more than $7,425 was raised during the ski hill’s Lift Ticket Food Bank campaign.

Not only did the customers donate cash, but Snow Valley also collected more than 1,200 pounds of food for the Elmvale Food Bank.

“We’re so proud of the way our guests stepped up to support this initiative,” said John Ball, general manager. “Giving back is part of who we are at Snow Valley, and this campaign shows just how much we can accomplish together.”

The campaign ran for ten days leading up to Christmas, Jonathan Palmer, director of marketing said.

“A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed, whether through food donations or by adding a little extra to their ticket purchase. Your support truly makes a difference,” said Palmer.

“We look forward to continuing this tradition and finding new ways to give back in the future.”
