Waterloo Regional Police say two men attempted to abduct a woman in Cambridge early Sunday.

Just after midnight a woman was walking on Clyde Road near Franklin Blvd when a pickup truck approached her.

Police say the passenger in the truck reached out the window and tried to grab the woman’s arm and pull her in the truck. The woman struggled and called out for help, and the truck fled the scene.

The passenger is described as a slender black man in his mid-30s to early 40s. He has a triangular shaped beard, and was wearing a black jacket and toque.

The driver was a black male, mid 30s to late 40s with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark green baseball cap.

The truck is described as a cranberry or wine coloured pickup truck without a cap.

The woman wasn’t injured.
