More details of a police investigation that involved 14 search warrants and multiple arrests – including one in a Cambridge parking lot that was captured on video – are expected to be revealed Friday.
The RCMP say they, Waterloo Regional Police and “other partners” will hold a press conference Friday morning in Kitchener to outline details of their investigation.
What is known is that the RCMP say they and Waterloo Regional Police began the investigation last spring and that it has resulted in the execution of 14 search warrants, as well as “multiple arrests.”
Those arrests included one in the parking lot of a plaza on Pinebush Road in Cambridge, where video showed officers in camouflage gear placing a man under arrest.
