Police have identified the 54-year-old man that died in the two-vehicle crash on Highway 4 north of London, Saturday afternoon.

Thomas Dinney, from South Huron, Ontario, was initially transported to hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Police said a black minivan struck a white cube van on Richmond Street (Highway 4) near Eight Mile Road just before noon Saturday.

The two occupants of the cub van did not sustain any injuries, according to police.

Richmond Street was closed from Eight Mile Road to Nine Mile Road until approximately 7:30 p.m. the same day.

Police are still investigating the incident.
