Highway 401 has partially reopened west of Ayr following a three-vehicle crash and jackknifed transport truck.
The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m., between the Northumberland Road bridge and the Cedar Creek Road ramps.
A transport truck, a car and a van were involved in the crash, although it wasn’t immediately clear how the collision occurred.
As a result of the collision, the transport truck jackknifed across the highway, blocking all travel lanes.
OPP reported that there were no injuries in the crash.
Two of the three westbound lanes reopened around 11:30 a.m., with the third lane opened up in the early afternoon.
