Waterloo Regional Police say they’ve identified two people they want to talk to in connection with an unsolved homicide case out of Kitchener.

Although they are not calling the two suspects in the murder of Gavin Daley, they say the pair should be considered “armed and dangerous” and not approached directly.

“We believe they may have information relating to the Gavin Daley homicide,” Staff Sgt. Michael Haffner said Thursday.

Daley, a 23-year-old who previously lived in Ajax, was found dead in his Westwood Drive apartment last December. Emergency responders were initially called to the apartment for a report of a fire.

His death has been considered a homicide since days after the discovery, but police had said little about the case until Thursday, when they revealed the two people of interest.

They are 23-year-old Sarah Poole and 28-year-old Devon Victor, both of whom may be living somewhere in the Greater Toronto Area.

Poole is described as being 5’4” and 120 pounds. Police say she is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for human trafficking and fraud.

Victor is also wanted by Toronto Police for conspiracy to commit a crime.

Months before his death, Daley was sought by police in Kingston in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Poole and Victor is urged to contact police.
