Perth County Paramedics say six children and five adults were treated and transported to multiple hospitals after a serious two vehicle crash near Gowanstown between Palmerston and Listowel.
The collision happened shortly after 12:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon, on Highway 23 and line 89.
Provincial police say that the driver of one van travelling South on Road 164 attempted to make a U-turn, when it was struck on the passenger side by another van travelling North.
An air ambulance was called to transport several patients, but had to cancel because of the weather.
A 4-year-old and a 5-year-old were taken to hospital in London with serious injuries.
The other occupants in both vans were taken to other hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
