A fire on Brock Street has caused thousands of dollars in damages to a home.
Woodstock fire officials are now investigating a blaze that took about an hour to get under control.
Police say the call came in around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night, when a passerby called 911 saying he could see smoke coming from the back of the house.
The home owner was not present at the time of the blaze however, neighbours had to be evacuated.
