The Wilmot Wild are one win away from the 2nd round of the Junior C lacrosse playoffs after a thrilling win over Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.  Damon Miller scored the game winner in double overtime giving the Wild a 7-6 victory over the Bengals and a 1-0 series lead in the best of three.

Cody Hamley delivered a big performance for Wilmot with 3 goals and 1 assist.  Nick Seftel also chipped in with 3 points in Game one at the Wilmot Recreation Complex.  The Wild have a chance to wrap up the series on the road in Game 2 on Tuesday night in Hamilton.  Game time is 8:00pm.

In other Junior C playoff action on Sunday, the Fergus Thistles beat Caledon 10-6 and the Six Nations Warriors lost 10-5 in Halton Hills.
