The Ontario Hockey Association has announced the upcoming schedule for the GOJHL Sutherland Cup round-robin series.
The three Junior 'B' teams who will represent their respective conferences are the Brantford Golden Eagles (Midwestern Conference), the London Nationals (Western Conference) and the St. Catharines Falcons (Golden Horseshoe Conference).
The three squads went through three previous rounds to get to this point. Each has just four games to gain entry into the Sutherland Cup Final.
The Golden Eagles know all about the Sutherland Cup round-robin, having been here twice. Brantford has been to the Sutherland Cup finals twice before, having won both times. Most recently, the Golden Eagles captured the coveted trophy in 2009 after defeating the Stoney Creek Warriors in five games.
The Golden Eagles' Sutherland Cup round-robin schedule begins this Saturday night (April 14th) at 7:30 pm in Brantford, when they host St. Catharines. Back on October 8th, the Falcons defeated the Golden Eagles 4-3 in overtime.
