Victoria Park was packed for the 49th annual multicultural festival on Saturday.
It’s a chance to celebrate all of the rich cultures in Waterloo Region.
“What I love about this festival is that it really showcases how diverse we are and the sense of community when we’re all together here in the park is just amazing,” says Lucia Harrison, KW Multicultural Centre.
“I never go to Ukraine and experience that culture, so having it here kind of helps me connect with my culture more,” says Ana & Catherine, Ukrainian Dancers.
From turkey legs, to Greek souvlaki, the food is the main attraction for the majority of attendees.
The festival continues all day on Sunday.
