A 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital Tuesday morning after her vehicle hit a hydro pole in Woodstock.
Woodstock Police say the woman was driving around Cedar Street and Norwich Avenue at 5:40 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle.
The collision left her trapped inside the vehicle, until she was freed by emergency responders.
She was taken to Woodstock General Hospital with injuries police described as serious, but not life-threatening.
The Tillsonburg resident also faces a charge of careless driving.
