Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred in downtown Kitchener early Sunday morning.
It happened at around 1:30 a.m. on King Street, between Young and Ontario Streets.
Police say an incident started in a nearby nightclub, and continued outside on the sidewalk.
A 21-year-old male was admitted to Hamilton hospital. Another man was taken to St. Mary’s hospital. Two different men have been arrested.
Police are still investigating.
