Waterloo Regional Police say charges may be laid in a collision that closed part of a busy detour route in Kitchener’s north end.
Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, a transport truck became stuck under the rail bridge on Park Street, near Cherry Street.
Park – a detour route for King Street, which is closed in the same area for construction – was immediately closed to southbound traffic due to the wedged truck.
It was expected to remain closed for several hours.
Engineers were being brought in to examine the site before efforts were made to move the truck.
