Fog, construction and crashes stall Monday morning traffic.  Patchy fog has reduced visibility in areas around the province.

A tractor trailer roll-over at Mavis Road in the westbound lanes has traffic backed up in both directions.  Eastbound lanes are clogged as far back as Winston Churchill Blvd.

Shortly after 1:00 this morning, the westbound transport lost control and rolled, blocking a number of lanes.  Police have since closed all westbound lanes. The problem was not expected to be cleared well into the morning commute.  The OPP reported that all lanes were cleared around 8:10.

As officials were dealing with the crash, a man ran the barricade closing the roadway.  As the vehicle was heading off the highway, the driver bailed out as the van continued on and crashed in the ditch.  The man was taken into custody.  Police have not released what charges he will be facing.
