The man accused of shooting a husband and wife in the Hullett Marsh near Clinton two years ago will go to trial next year.

Jury selection for Boris Panovski's first degree murder trial will begin April 24, 2017.

Panovski, 72, is charged with shooting and killing Toronto resident Don Frigo and attempting to shoot and kill his wife Eva Frigo on Sept. 13, 2014.

The case has been slowed by Panovski, who initially wanted to represent himself, changing lawyers on multiple occasions.

The trial is expected to last several weeks.
