Firefighters in Six Nations say they had to aggressively attack a fire Thursday morning to stop it from spreading.

Fire crews were called to an address on Cayuga Road, in the northeastern part of Six Nations, just before 4:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from a trailer, with a second trailer and nearby home potentially at risk.

Additional firefighters were called in, and the fire was knocked down within an hour.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which remains under investigation.
