A Kitchener man faces charges of assault and aggravated assault following an incident on a walking trail in the city.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, three people were assaulted just after 7 p.m. Monday on the trail, located near Highland Road and Lawrence Avenue.
Police say a man and woman were assaulted first.
A cyclist then stopped to help the victims. He too was allegedly assaulted.
Officers responded and arrested a 43-year-old man.
