Waterloo Regional police are warning business owners about thieves targeting employees as they prepare to make bank deposits.
A restaurant on Ottawa Street in Kitchener was the recent target of thieves who smeared dog feces on an employee's car door handle.
When the employee went back inside to clean up, the suspects broke into the car and stole the bank deposit.
