Brantford Police are trying to figure out who left a bunch of money at a Tim Hortons restaurant in the city’s north east.
Police say they were notified of find by somebody else who was in the restaurant, who ended up turning the cash over to police.
The money was in an envelope, and left at the Tim Hortons on Lynden Road – east of Wayne Gretzky Parkway – around 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
Its rightful owner is asked to contact police, who will ask them to describe the envelope and the amount of money it contained.
