One person was taken to hospital following what Waterloo Regional Police say was a stabbing at an inn in Kitchener’s east end.
The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say they were notified of the stabbing via a 911 call directing them to a room at the inn, located on Victoria Street near Forfar Avenue.
One man was taken to hospital, where he remained several hours later, believed by police to be in stable condition.
Police remained at the inn for much of the day, searching for evidence and interviewing witnesses.
