The Cambridge Winter Hawks rode pink to victory Sunday night with a win over visiting Brantford (3-9-1).

With their uniforms highlighted with pink logos, numbers and socks, the Hawks doubled the 99ers 4-2 at the Galt Arena Gardens.

It was all part of ‘Pink at the Rink’ night in Cambridge. Proceeds from a silent auction of Winter Hawks’ jerseys will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The game saw Cambridge (7-6-0) jump out to a 4-0 lead after two periods, on the strength of a goal and assist by Kole Scott.

Max Wright made 34 saves for the win, while Cameron Zanussi faced 52 shots in the Brantford goal.

Tuesday’s GOJHL action sees the Stratford Warriors visit the Kitchener Dutchmen at Kinsmen Arena (7:00 pm).
