The OLA Junior 'C' Lacrosse playoffs are off to a shaky start for the Wilmot Wild.  They fell 10-5 to the Halton Hills Bulldogs in the opening game of their best-of-three opening-round series.

The visiting Bulldogs jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the opening period in Baden.  The Wild clawed their way back to a 5-4 deficit late in the second frame, before Halton Hills erupted for five more goals in the game's final 25 minutes.

Kyle Moore paced the winners with one goal and five assists.  Mike Niccolucci had a hat trick for the Bulldogs.  Wilmot's scoring was spread out, with John Wilson, Scott Tremblay and Cody Brown each scoring once and assisting once.

The series is a re-match of last year's Western Conference Championship, which was won by Halton Hills.  The Wild now face elimination Wednesday night in Georgetown.  Game time is 8:00 pm.
