Parts of southwestern Ontario are in for another snowy day Friday.

The city of London, eastern Middlesex County, Oxford County, Huron County, southern Perth County and southern Bruce County were all under snow squall warnings at 9:00 a.m. Friday.  Many areas were under snow squall watches.

School buses in some areas were cancelled due to poor driving conditions.

A cold front moved across the province Thursday.  The frigid air, being blown across the Great Lakes and Georgian Bay, is causing the squalls along the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Local snowfall amounts could reach 30 centimetres, but only if a squall sustains in one area for an extended period of time.

In other areas, such as Waterloo Region, flurries are expected to begin this afternoon, with two centimetres of accumulation expected.  Another two centimetres are likely overnight, and another two on Saturday.
