The victims in a fatal crash that happened in Jarvis over the weekend have been named.

Donna Jay Sault, 46, was driving with her sister 49-year-old Deanna Evelyn Sault when their motorcycle collided with a car on May 21, 2016 around 2:45 in the afternoon.

Both women are from the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation.

The women were pronounced dead at hospital, after being ejected from their motorcycle.

Police say that their bike was travelling southbound on Highway 6 when it hit a Sedan that was travelling westbound on Regional Road 70.

The car was being driven by 68-year-old Susan Lloyd. She suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

OPP continues to investigate the accident and charges are pending.

A Facebook post from the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation says both sisters worked for the First Nation. Donna was a community support worker and Deanna was a nurse.

A public viewing and service was scheduled at the First Nation’s Community Centre Tuesday.
