Ingredients

1 tbsp (15 mL) Vegetable oil

5  Schneiders® Red Hots Original Style Wieners, chopped

3 Cloves garlic, minced

1 Onion, chopped
1 Carrot, chopped

1 tsp (5 mL) Sugar

3 cups (750 mL) Cooked rice

1 cup (250 mL) Frozen peas

2 Eggs, beaten

 

2 tbsp (30 mL) Soy sauce

1 tbsp (15 mL) Fish sauce (optional)

Salt and pepper

 

Directions

HEAT oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.  Add wieners and stir-fry about 2 minutes. Add garlic, onion and carrot and continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.

ADD rice and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, stir in frozen peas and cook for 1-2 minutes. Make a well in the center of the rice mixture; add beaten eggs and cook, stirring, until eggs are scrambled, about one minute. Add sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, salt and pepper and stir to combine.
