A Guelph man already facing numerous charges in connection with an alleged inappropriate relationship is now facing additional charges after a second victim stepped forward.

Thirty-eight-year-old Jeffrey Dakin was a volunteer at the Elmira Theatre Company as well as being involved with a number of theatre groups in southwestern Ontario, including the Guelph Little Theatre.

He was arrested in March and charged with 14 counts including sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and luring.

Those charges stem from what police say was an inappropriate relationship that occurred more than two years ago between Dakin and a 12-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, Dakin was again arrested and faces another slew of charges.

Guelph Police Sgt. Doug Pflug says he's now charged with "making child pornography, possessing child pornography, mischief, sexual assault and possession of a controlled substance."

Guelph police say another underage female victim came forward during their investigation, leading to the additional charges.

Dakin made a brief court appearance on Thursday, but a publication ban is in place on what was said.

A full day has been set aside for a bail hearing on May 2nd, and he will remain in custody until then.

In a statement released to CTV News by the Guelph Little Theatre, board members say they are still in shock.

"The news of charges filed against Mr. Jeff Dakin came to our attention through the local media. Based on a decision by the board on March 9, 2012, this member has been suspended from access, participation and involvement in all activities at [Guelph Little Theatre]."

The theatre is a volunteer organization with more than 150 members and they say they are working with the police on the matter.

Pflug says "This complaint is the result of someone coming forward as the result of the first arrest, and we encourage anyone that has been a victim and/or knows anything about this male to come forward and let us investigate it."
