One man was able to get away with cash following a robbery at a convenience store in northwest Kitchener.

The robbery brought police to the Hasty Market store at Westmount Road and Westwood Drive around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, no weapons were seen during the robbery and the clerk working in the store was not injured.

The man is described as being black, slim, likely in his 20s, 5’10” to six feet tall and weighing less than 150 pounds.

He was seen wearing a white hoodie with a black stripe on the sleeves, grey jeans, black gloves and a mask that covered half of his face.
