A number of charges have been laid after a man allegedly ended up sticking around the scene of the crime – literally.

Woodstock Police say they learned early Sunday morning of a break-and-enter in progress at Clarke and Nellis streets.

Arriving at the business, officers allegedly found that a window had been smashed.

The man believed to be behind the smashing, police say, was found stuck in bars installed to protect the building’s windows.

Brett Schaefer, 41, is charged with break, enter and theft, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.
